Mercedes had not looked like an outright frontrunner during practice, but Rosberg set a banker 1m32.4s lap at the start of Q3 and it proved impossible to beat. Sebastian Vettel got closest for Red Bull with a 1m32.584s, just ahead of Fernando Alonso's Ferrari. Rosberg then made his pole absolutely certain, improving to 1m32.330s to clinch the top spot by over 0.2 seconds. His team-mate Lewis Hamilton was 0.4s slower in fourth place. Well we've certainly had some awesome motorsport over the last few weeks!!!!!!!
The V8 Supercars at Pukekohe over the weekend were fantastic!!!!!!!! It was a great event with perfect weather and Puke was back to its best. The place was packed with enthusiastic fans, and the kiwi boys in the field did everyone proud. Witnessing Scott McLaughlin become the youngest winner in V8 Supercar history was something really special!!!!! The changes to the track offered a great viewing spot for fans, but have obviously made the track a bit harder to pass on. All in all it was an excellent meeting with good support categories, and it was great to catch up with a number of you over the weekend. Roll on Austin Texas!!!!.

The countdown continues to the start of the 2013 Total Lubricants Rally Xtreme Challenge, with the first round at the MTA Rally of Maramarua now less than a week away. Providing 120km of competition, as for last year it will be a quick fire series of 9 stages that will keep the crews on their toes. The excitement will continue to build for the spectators on each stage, as they wait for the fastest to appear..  Read more >>

At the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 44, the talented driver, along with his team mates Ramos and Zampieri, dominated the race, crossing the line in the lead and leaving behind them 60 cars belonging to the most important car companies. After setting the second best time in the second stint of qualifying, Davide kicked off from the fourth row setting the eight time. The Ferrari driver straightaway moved up the standing and managed to lead just behind the podium, taking the lead of the race on the 30th lap. The “red” from Maranello n.44 was the fastest car on track and managed to set the fastest lap on 1.50.414. The pit-stop strategy and performance of the men in red was perfect, so Davide passed the baton to Ramos when he was in the lead. The Brazilian driver kept on being in the lead, before passing the baton to Zampieri who finished that stunning race. .  Read more >>
